Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
F. S. Xia et al. 2007 | Zoaria ramose, often branching dichotomously. Autozooecial apertures subcircular, oval, often petaloid due to in- dent by larger styles, and exilazooecia rare or wanting. Zooecial walls thickened only in marginal region of zoarium, forming ex- ozone distinct from endozone. Zooecial wall granular in endo- zone, and distinctly inclined fibrous or lamellate in exozone. Styles developed, situated within walls, often indenting apertures giving petaloid appearance. Diaphragms occur only at endozone/ exozone boundary and in exozone. |
