Taxonomy
Nekhorosheviella semisphaerica was named by Xia et al. (2007). It is not extant. Its type locality is Daping section, Fenxiang, sample CF3, which is in a Tremadocian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Fenxiang Formation of China.
