Taxonomy
Septirhynchia numidiensis was named by Mancenido and Walley (1979). It is not extant. Its type locality is Djebel Brourmett (Poste optique), which is in a Callovian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Tataouine Formation of Tunisia.
