Inyoceras bittneri

Taxonomy
Xenodiscus bittneri was named by Hyatt and Smith (1905). Its type specimen is Pl 20, figs 5-7 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Union Wash, Parapopanoceras beds, Inyo Range, which is in a Spathian slope limestone in the Union Wash Formation of California.

It was recombined as Inyoceras bittneri by Tozer (1994), Guex et al. (2010).
