Taxonomy
Enteletes mioplicata was named by Zhao and Tan (1984). Its type specimen is Hunan Geological Bureau HB274 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rencunping section, bed 13, RCF35, Sangzhi County, which is in a Wordian shallow subtidal limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
