Pygmochonetes subjingxianensis
Taxonomy
Pygmochonetes subjingxianensis was named by Zhao and Tan (1984). Its type specimen is Hunan Geological Bureau HB256, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rencunping section, bed 5, RCF3, Sangzhi County, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Qixia Formation of China.
