Taxonomy
Paratirolites guizhouensis was named by Liang (1983). Its type specimen is NIGP 72343 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jiaozishan, near coal mine, Anshun County, which is in a Changhsingian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
