Isisfordia was named by Salisbury et al. (2006). It is not extant. Its type is Isisfordia duncani.
It was assigned to Eusuchia by Salisbury et al. (2006), Andrade et al. (2011), Puértolas et al. (2011), Bronzati et al. (2012), Hart et al. (2019); and to Susisuchidae by Poropat et al. (2023).
