Gilchristosuchus palatinus

Taxonomy
Gilchristosuchus palatinus was named by Wu and Brinkman (1993). Its type specimen is RTMP 91.101.1, a partial skull (partial skull including postorbital region and braincase, and an incomplete cervical vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gilchrist Ranch, which is in a Santonian terrestrial horizon in the Milk River Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Gilchristosuchus.
