Chonetina artiensis

Taxonomy
Chonetella artiensis was named by Krotow (1885). Its type specimen is PIN 3778/25, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Urmy Village, Sylva River, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone/claystone in the Sarga Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Chonetina.

It was recombined as Chonetina artiensis by Ustritsky (1960), Afanasjeva (1981), Xu et al. (2021).
