Colospongia paronae
Taxonomy
Colospongia paronae was named by Aleotti et al. (1986) [Steinmannia salinaria Waagen & Wentzel, in Parona, 1933]. Its type specimen is MPUP CP122 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rupe di San Calogero Block, Sosio (Padua collection), which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy.
