Musandamia was named by Senowbari-Daryan and Bernecker (2010). It is not extant. Its type is Musandamia omanica.
It was assigned to Sebargasiinae by Senowbari-Daryan and Bernecker (2010); and to Enoplocoeliinae by Amirhassankhani et al. (2014).
