Taxonomy
Guiyangoceras latiformum was named by Zhou (1985). Its type specimen is NIGP 70838 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wangli, Guiyang County, which is in a Roadian marine mudstone in the Dangchong Formation of China.
