Yinoceras trifurcatum
Taxonomy
Shaoyangoceras trifurcatum was named by Zhou (1985). Its type specimen is NIGP 70804 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jiangjiachong, southern Shaoyang City, which is in a Kungurian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Dangchong Formation of China.
It was recombined as Yinoceras trifurcatum by Leonova (2002) and Zhou et al. (2002).
