Myalinella newelli
Taxonomy
Myalinella newelli was named by Hautmann et al. (2011). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 28464, a valve (Right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shanggan Sha3, Leye County, which is in a Griesbachian shallow subtidal packstone in China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Myalinella postcarbonica by Hofmann et al. (2013).
