Jinjiangoceras ventroplanum
Taxonomy
Jinjiangoceras ventroplanum was named by Zheng and Ma (1982). Its type specimen is NIGP 54613 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lucun Section, Bed 10, Yichun County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine sandstone in the Loping Formation of China.
It was recombined as Prototoceras ventroplanum by Leonova (2002).
