Taxonomy
Timaniella festa was named by Barchatova (1968). Its type specimen is TsGM 10/8229, 11/8229 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sula River, below mouth of Shchuch'ya River, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Vil'skaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
