Taxonomy
Paratongluceras lixianense was named by Zheng (1984). Its type specimen is NIGP 64972 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dalianpo, Lixian County, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Xinyueshan Formation of China.
