Taxonomy
Squamella lichatchevi was named by Belyaeva (1991). Its type specimen is DVGI 8-B, slide 159M and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lijacheva Point, Collection 159, Trudnyi Peninsula, Primorye, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Yastrebovka Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Imbricatocoelia lichatchevi by Belyaeva (1997).
