Girtyocoelia orientalis
Taxonomy
Apocoelia orientalis was named by Belyaeva (1991). Its type specimen is DVGI 8-5 coll. 145, slide 145-1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nakhodka Quarry, Collection 145, Primorye, which is in a Changhsingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Lyudyanza Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Girtyocoelia orientalis by Finks et al. (2004).
