Taxonomy
Bukkenites incisus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28081 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 51593, Raanes Peninsula, Ellesmere Island, which is in a Griesbachian marine siliciclastic in the Blind Fiord Formation of Canada.
