Taxonomy
Cyclorismina was named by Marwick (1927) [Sepkoski's age data: K Ceno K Maes Sepkoski's reference number: 914]. Its type is Cyclorismina woodsi.

It was assigned to Tapetinae by Zinsmeister (1984), Stilwell and Zinsmeister (1992); and to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002).
