Taxonomy
Tenuichonetes subquadrata was named by Jin and Ye (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gougongmakaerdeng Section ZP2F29-2, Huashixia, Maduo County, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Bayinhe Formation of China.
