Taxonomy
Rhynchonella sinensis was named by Koken (1910).

It was recombined as Diholkorhynchia sinensis by Yang and Xu (1966), Feng and Jiang (1978), Jin et al. (1979), Sun and Ye (1982), Guo et al. (2019).
