Parenchodus longipterygius
Taxonomy
Parenchodus longipterygius was named by Raab and Chalifa (1987). Its type specimen is Hebrew Univ. of Jerusalem, P.163, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Givat-Shaul, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in the Kefar Shaul Formation of Israel. It is the type species of Parenchodus.
