Platycrinites ellesmerense
Taxonomy
Platycrinites ellesmerense was named by Broadhead and Strimple (1977). Its type specimen is GSC 34066, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Cape, Ellesmere Island, which is in a Capitanian marine siliciclastic in the Trold Fiord Formation of Canada.
