Aleodon brachyrhamphus
Taxonomy
Aleodon brachyrhamphus was named by Crompton (1955). Its type specimen is UMZC field number 113C, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is B29, between Gingama and Tschikonge, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Manda Beds Formation of Tanzania. It is the type species of Aleodon.
