Taxonomy
Dunbarella guangxiensis was named by Zhang (1977). Its type specimen is IV55223, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Luofu, Nandan County, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Qixia Formation of China.
