Sestropoma mexicanum
Taxonomy
Sestropoma mexicanum was named by Cooper and Grant (1975). Its type specimen is USNM 153675, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM815, Arroyo La Difunta, Las Delicias, which is in a Wordian marine limestone in the Palo Quemado Formation of Mexico.
