Elliotherium kersteni
Taxonomy
Elliotherium kersteni was named by Sidor and Hancox (2006). Its type specimen is BP/1/6106, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Farm Beatrix, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian floodplain siltstone in the Elliot Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Elliotherium.
