Laonogekko lefevrei
Taxonomy
Laonogekko lefevrei was named by Augé (2003). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MNHN PMT5, a partial skull (almost complete right maxilla). Its type locality is Prémontré, which is in a MP 10 marginal marine sandstone in France. It is the type species of Laonogekko.

Augé 2003 | Le maxillaire de Laonogekko lefevrei n. gen., n. sp. diffère de ceux des autres Gekkonidae par la faible pente du bord postérieur du processus dorsal et par l’existence d’un rebord interne longeant le bord antérieur du processus dorsal. Laonogekko lefevrei n. gen., n. sp. se sépare de Rhodanogekko, un gekkonidé de l’Éocène moyen français, par la face dor- sale du frontal, très ornementée, voire rugueuse chez Rhodanogekko. Il se sépare de Cadurcogekko, gekkonidé de l’Éocène supérieur européen, par sa taille plus petite et la morphologie du bord antérieur du processus dor- sal du maxillaire, plus élevé chez Laonogekko n. gen. |
