Taxonomy
Rhombopora filiformis was named by Crockford (1941). Its type specimen is Sydney Univ 1425 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Warden Head, Ulladulla, which is in a Roadian prodelta siltstone in the Wandrawandian Formation of Australia.
