Taxonomy
Acridiopsis spoliata was named by Bode (1953). It is an impression. Its type locality is Hattorf, Fallersleben (Siemensi), which is in a Toarcian offshore mudstone in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Acridiopsis.
