Pseudisocardia was named by Douvillé (1912) [Sepkoski's age data: J Aale J Call Sepkoski's reference number: 93]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Dicerocardiidae by Vokes (1980); and to Veneroida by Sepkoski (2002).
