Nansenopora peculiaris

Taxonomy
Nansenopora peculiaris was named by Ernst and Nakrem (2007). Its type specimen is PMO 208.960a and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Great Bear Cape (Store Bjornekap), Ellesmere Island, which is in an Artinskian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Great Bear Cape Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Nansenopora.
