Taxonomy
Mediocris was named by Rozovskaya (1961) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-u C Mosc-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Eostaffella mediocris.

It was assigned to Ozawainellidae by Rozovskaya (1961); to Eostaffellidae by Groves (1988), Ivanova (2000); and to Foraminiferida by Sepkoski (2002).
