Metaperrinites involutus
Taxonomy
Shuangyangites involutus was named by Liang (1982). Its type specimen is NIGP 64179 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhoujiayao, ACZ1, Shuangyang County, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Fanjiatun Formation of China. It is the type species of Shuangyangites.
It was recombined as Metaperrinites involutus by Furnish et al. (2009).
