Aristoceratoides varicosum
Taxonomy
Thalassoceras varicosum was named by Gemmellaro (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Roccapalumba, Torto River, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Aristoceratoides.
It was recombined as Aristoceratoides varicosum by Leonova (2002).
