Taxonomy
Thamniscus digitatus was named by Girty (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 3764 green, Diablo Mountains, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Delaware Mountain Formation of Texas.
