Productus mexicanus
Taxonomy
Productus mexicanus was named by Shumard (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White limestone of the Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas.
