Altudoceras serratum
Taxonomy
Gastrioceras serratum was named by Girty (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2931 green, Guadalupe Canyon, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Cherry Canyon Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Paragastrioceras serratum by Plummer and Scott (1937); it was recombined as Pseudogastrioceras serratum by Miller and Furnish (1940); it was recombined as Altudoceras serratum by Ruzhentsev (1974), Leonova (2002).
