Taxonomy
Ammonites belviderensis was named by Cragin (1894). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Buchiceras (Sphenodiscus) belviderensis by Cragin (1900); it was recombined as Engonoceras belviderense by Hyatt (1903).
