Taxonomy
Lyelliceras latili was named by Kennedy and Klinger (2008). Its type specimen is BMNH C37265c, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Escragnolles (Var) (Upper Greensand), which is in an Albian marine sandstone in France.
