Tapponnierites tenuicostatus
Taxonomy
Tapponnierites tenuicostatus was named by Guex et al. (2005). Its type specimen is JGX-419 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hammond Creek JGX-HC30, which is in a Spathian marine limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho. It is the type species of Tapponnierites.
