Fengshanites americanus

Taxonomy
Subcolumbites americanus was named by Kummel (1969). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cain Mountain, southern Tobin Range, which is in a Spathian marine horizon in the Tobin Formation of Nevada.

It was recombined as Fengshanites americanus by Guex et al. (2010).
