Taxonomy
Silberlingeria sarahjanae was named by Guex et al. (2005). Its type specimen is JGX-480 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hammond Creek JGX-HM18b, which is in a Spathian deep-water limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.
