Taxonomy
Euhystrichoceras remolinense was named by Böse (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Remolino (opposite), road to Rancho Orégano [Buda Limestone], which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in the Buda Limestone Formation of Mexico.

It was recombined as Algericeras (Sakondryella) remolinense by Kennedy and Wright (1981).
