Taxonomy

Hoplites texanus was named by Cragin (1893). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Stoliczkaia texana by Adkins (1928); it was recombined as Stoliczkaia (Lamnayella) texana by Wright and Kennedy (1978), Kennedy (2005).

Synonyms

Stoliczkaia uddeni was named by Böse (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 951 (Adkins), McLennan Co. [Del Rio Clay], which is in a Cenomanian marine horizon in the Del Rio Clay Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Stoliczkaia (Lamnayella) uddeni by Mancini (1982); it was synonymized subjectively with Stoliczkaia (Lamnayella) texana by Kennedy (2005).
