Blasispirifer multiplicicostatus
Taxonomy
Spirifer multiplicicostatus was named by Netschajew (1894). Its type specimen is KSU Geol. Mus. 62-14/1, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pechishchi ravine mouth, Kazan, Tatarstan, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Kazan Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Blasispirifer multiplicicostatus by Gubareva and Boltaeva (1998), Waterhouse (2004).
