Taxonomy
Qianjiangoceras anhuiense was named by Guo (1988). Its type specimen is NIGP 10022 and is a mold. Its type locality is Tongling County, Changxing Limestone, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
It was recombined as Tapashanites anhuiensis by Leonova (2002).
